As a homeowner, one of my favorite thoughts about my home is that it is very relaxing. I can sit on the deck and watch the sun set or listen to the wind blow.
If you enjoy outdoor recreational activities, they are at your fingertips. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, or taking trips with James River Runners are just a few.
The community is very relaxed and they make you feel comfortable, although I dont care for the abundance of rental properties in the area, as I cannot guarantee the quality of tenants.
The convenience of Scottsville, with a new Food Lion, and the ease of a commute can compensate for the twenty minute drive to town.
If you travel frequently for work it is a good half way point between Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Staunton, etc. Country properties can have more upkeep, but this one is still a joy at the end of a long day at work.
